Excitement

You know when you are super excited for something, so you can't sleep the night before? Or when you wake up 900 times because you want to make sure that you don't miss your alarm? Or that every one of your dreams has to do with the exciting event that you are trying to patiently await?

Well....that is about how my night went last night!! You may think I am a little crazy, but I was really really excited for today. Why, you ask? Because today at NORDSTROM there was a Style Your Sole party! We had heard about this several weeks ago, and were really looking forward to it.

It was put on by TOMS shoes, and this is how it went down: you buy a new pair of TOMS and then local artists come and decorate them however you want them to! NO LIE~ It was really hard trying to come up with something to put on your shoes. You could just let your imagination run wild!

We google searched some ideas, and threw around some others. Trio #1 and I probably discussed 200 different options. I even asked the girls at work...they were no help! LOL

We went to NORDSTROM early this morning to guarantee that we could get the sizes that we wanted. Usually for this type of event, you purchase white TOMS and that way the design shows up perfectly. Well, some of my nightmares came true today....they only had dark colored TOMS in my size. So Trio #1 convinced me to get the black ones, and just do a negative design of my original plan. Trio #1 was lucky enough to have white ones in her size. Trio #3 got white ones as well, and Trio #3 got Mom a pair of natural ones.

Because we showed up so early, we were 2nd in line for the artists. After that, it was a 2.5 hour wait for everyone else. There were about 5 artists working on the shoes. Three of them were out on the sales floor so that everyone walking past could watch.

SUNSHINE!

If anyone ever tells you that the Winter weather does NOT give you the blues, HIT THEM! I am here to testify that we are made to enjoy the sunshine. Today is one of those days that your soul longs for!!

On Sunday night/Monday morning we got about 6 inches of snow dumped on us. No fun at all. My SIL could not believe that we were still getting snow in March. Then today, it got up to 60º! HALLELUJIA it was fantastic. I got to go outside at least 4 times while at work (which is a ton) and soak up the sunshine. There are no clouds to block the sun-rays and I willingly soaked them up. Driving home, I totally rolled the windows down and floated my arm out the window. If you look hard enough, you can even see my angel kisses are darker! YAY

Tonight Trio #3 is up to hang out with us, so we are going to go see some movies! I'll let you know how is goes!


And I know that the next couple of posts are going to be out of order, so just deal with it!
